When i saw this week’s IF word, i immediately thought of my trip to Japan a few years ago. Each meal is a sumptuous feast and the beauty of it all might take your breath away, every single time.
At first, you get this crazy rush whenever the food is coming to your table, snap your camera, take 15 shots of it and start eating real fast, too fast.
But then, you don’t take pictures anymore, and you eat slower, so you can enjoy to look at it a little longer..

sneaky liar

When i was a little girl, i used to eat a lot and still, i remained hungry for more, much more.
So, i started to sneak into the kitchen at night, grab cheese, bread sticks or salami, and run back to my bedroom, without ever waking up anybody. Still, suspicions started to arise. And that’s what i would always tell my mum....

Mademoiselle Moustache

Last week, i was in a little antiquity shop in Lisbon, and  i found a collection of old pictures from the 1920's representing Portuguese women with mustaches. Each of them had a perfectly groomed little black mustache. And of course, it stuck in my mind, till now. I just find it fascinating.
